Student Meeting Days
Our co-op gathers in two unique semesters, each designed to build both learning and community.
Fall: Enrichment Semester
In the fall, students meet for 12 Fridays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Each week, students participate in two engaging 55-minute classes with a short break in between, allowing them to learn, move, and connect with peers.
For the grade schoolers, the semester is split into two parts: the first six weeks focus on social studies and creative classes, while the second six weeks explore science and electives. For the high schoolers, their courses will include a blend of electives and social studies. Both elementary and high school students participate in consistent class rhythm, which keeps things fresh and engaging.
A typical day example:
10:00am - first class begins
10:55am - first class ends, break begins
11:05am - second class begins
12:00pm - second class ends, co-op is over for the day, but families may wish to stay and have lunch under the pavilion outside
After the fall session ends in November, we take a break to enjoy the holiday season with our families.
Spring : Inspiration Semester
After the New Year, we shift into a more flexible, experience-based rhythm led by our co-op families. Each month includes a mix of opportunities to learn and connect, such as a field trip, guest speaker, service project or special event, and a park day or group hike.
This semester is all about building friendships, exploring together, and learning through shared experiences.
