How CHE Qualifies as a Home Education Instructional Program
Requirements-
Scholarship funds may be used to pay tuition and fees for programs, courses, or classes offered to home education students. These services must be part of the student's sequential instruction per the definition of home education.

The activities and content offered at CHE are part of a student's sequential instruction per the DOE definition of home education program here: f ss. 1002.41, 1003.01(13), and 1003.21(1). The parent specifically chooses CHE because it offers content that is directly selected to support the student's parent-directed education in sequential learning, core curriculums, and social learning. Families are expected to do the majority of their learning at home, to then meet on Fridays at CHE to come together as a group to discuss the content more in depth, create projects, and do collaborative activities that tie in with the subject in which is being studied at home.
Must be a program selected by the parent as part of their home education student's parent-directed instruction. (programs may not be full time)
CHE is NOT a full-time program. The parent specifically chooses the classes and activities at CHE because the classes and activities directly support their students home-based education. CHE students attend classes on twenty-four Fridays throughout the school year, and offers activities and social interaction to accompany the students home-based curriculum. Parents are on site for the entire duration of the meetings to offer support, collaboration, and assistance in class.
Must provide courses or activities for home education students to enhance or enrich the child's learning opportunities
Students at CHE participate in various games, discussions, activities, and projects that tie into the topic each week. All that is offered is in a collaborative environment, supervised and lead by parents. Each meeting encourages student interaction and group learning.
